普魯士藍鐵染色法（Perl's Iron Stain）是檢測細胞和組織中非血紅素鐵的常用組織化學方法之一，通過形成藍色的普魯士藍沉淀檢測骨髓及肝、脾、腎等組織細胞中的鐵蛋白和含鐵血黃素沉積。該染色方法可以很好的區分含鐵血黃素和其他色素，但是受限于染色原理，對于低于30μM/g的鐵含量很難形成肉眼可見的陽性標記。

普魯士藍染色試劑盒（核固紅法）穩定性好、可以長期保存、不易產生沉淀、應用范圍廣、可以進行復染。該染色液的復染液采用核固紅，是最經典、最常用的復染液。
